So make sure, in your daily struggle, everywhere and always, to listen to the first voice of your conscience!
When you are about to abide by its suggestions, you have nothing to fear; you will advance with your spiritual life and enjoy the grace of God…

More specifically:
In front of a specific occasion, if your conscience tells you (that first and muffled voice inside you) “do not do this”, listen to it and do not do it and you will not regret it! Or if it tells you, “do this”, do it, and you will be happy!

In general, it is good, every now and then, to ask our conscience: “What shall I do now?” (And whatever it tells you, just do it..)

A clear (well-ordered) conscience, my brethren, is part of Paradise..
