719 (NEIGHBOUR/ PASSIONS/ MISUNDERSTANDINGS/ SAFETY DISTANCES/ APATHY)
Today, my brethren, when
we speak to
people, we are
not actually speaking to people, but to
their passions…
Many times, in fact, we have to
deal with their
explosiveness and their
outbursts…
Unfortunately, the past
beautiful simplicity has now been
abandoned and this is something that should not have occurred…
What do we do?
How do we deal with them?
There are two axes around which we should move.
One is the
negative and the other is the
positive:
Axis 1 (negative):
We keep a safe distance from people
On the motorway there is a sign: “Keep two arrows of safety distance”.
In other words, what I want to stress: Be
careful of
what you say and be
restrained in
how you
behave…
Not too much
exposure, not too much
frankness, not too much
familiarity, not too much
close contacts, not too much
closeness to people,
not too much
dependence…
Axis 2 (positive)
: Do not give too
much attention to these!
In other words, do
not take everything so
seriously!
And this, because
sometimes people
talk without thinking…
They talk in
anger…
That is, they
have outbursts of
anger, anxiety and
hysteria!
They may
use very ugly
words; they may make
unjust accusations; there is a Greek saying:
“Although the
tongue has no bones it can
break bones!”
Let us not take them
seriously, my brethren!
For if we are
not careful, we shall get
stressed too…
We too will be
filled with
thoughts, even
anger…
The devil will get
involved, and
we will do or
have bad scenarios…
While they,
afterwards, will most surely
regret what they said in their
anger and in the
outburst of their
passions, we will be
left with the
damage caused, as explained above…
So, here is the summary of the two axes:
1. Safe distances (not too much
liberty with people and/or
dependence!) and
2. Do
not take them too
seriously!).
I wish you the best!!!
