755 (NEW YEAR’S DAY/ WISHES/ THOUGHTS/ PRAYER/ SANCTIFICATION) Since we were for the last couple of days in the twilight of 2023, and also since we were in the dawn of the New Year 2024, all kinds of wishes were exchanged between us… From our monastery, on the evening of New Year’s Eve, we wrote and sent to our Group “TO THE GLORY OF GOD” the following message: “Let us have 2 big bags with us:
Let us throw in the first one all our vices, all our faults, all our bad habits, all the errors of 2023…
Let us leave in the second one all the good things for 2024…
I wish it to all of us!!!!

Whether our new year will be good and blessed, will depend on…our thoughts, good or bad!!! And this is because our thoughts determine our life… At the end of the day, you are what you think… and you become one with what your mind dwells on and engages in… Besides, according to the position we take before a particular matter, this will become either good or bad! At the end of the day, my brethren, I would recommend that instead of engaging too much in conversation with our thoughts, it is preferable to pray… The easiest, most practical, and most efficient method of prayer is that of the Jesus Prayer:
“LORD JESUS CHRIST, SON OF GOD, HAVE MERCY ON ME.” This short, concise, yet multipowered prayer will take care of all our problems… It will fill all our shortcomings… It will give us discernment and illumination… It will purify, enlighten and sanctify our nous (mind) and transform in a more divine manner the intentive and desire parts of our soul… Finally, the frequent invocation of the Prayer will bless our days and the whole new year, into which we just entered yesterday! I wish it wholeheartedly to all of us! Just try it!
