Of course, according to Saint John, the Evangelist of Love:

“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 Jn 4:10).

We? What do we have to offer Him?
Nothing!!!!
Because, everything good we have is from God!!! Whatever evil we have is ours!!!

Let us express this two-way LOVE on every occasion:

Do you feel like a sinner?
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you my sins!”

Or, if you feel you have some virtue:
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you the virtue that you have given me!”
(“Your own of Your own we offer to you” – Divine Liturgy).

Do you feel weak?
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer You. I offer you my weakness!“

If, again, you feel strong:
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you the strength that You have given me!”

Do you feel foolish?
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you my foolishness!“

Do you feel like you have a defect character?
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you but my defects!”

Do you feel you are in debt to Him?
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you my debts!“

Do you feel spiteful?
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you my passions!“

Do you feel worthless?
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you my uselessness!“

Are you sick?
– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you my sickness!“

There is much that one can think of and express (offer), depending on the situation…

The only truth, is that we are in a mess… And we offer it to Him:

– “Jesus, I have nothing to offer you. I offer you my mess…”

I spoke above about the two-way LOVE.
What I mean is that our Christ receives with Love everything that we offer Him in humility…
