This day, in the twilight of 2024 and the dawn of the new year 2025, wishes come and go…

A good and blessed new year will depend on our own logismoi/thoughts!!! They are those (as we have said before), that determine our lives…

At the end of the day, you are or become what you think! (what you use to think).
Also, your stance on any matter before you, will determine that to be good or bad!

At the end of the day, my brethren, I would recommend, instead of entering into long conversations with our thoughts, and instead of thinking a lot, it would be better if we pray a lot…

The easiest, quickest and most expedient way of prayer is the Jesus Prayer:
«LORD JESUS CHRIST, SON OF GOD, HAVE MERCY ON ME».

This short, concise but multi-powered prayer will settle all our preoccupations… complete all our shortcomings… It will give us discernment and enlightenment… and will clear, illuminate and sanctify our mind (rational part) and it will transform the other two parts of the soul, the spirited and the appetitive.

The enemy against whom we have to wrestle is none other than ourselves, and
the place of the fighting ring is in our heart…
Along with the old year, let our ‘old man’ go and with the new year let us rekindle our ‘new man’, built in us by Christ Himself!

Finally, the frequent invocation of the Jesus Prayer will bless all our days and the whole new year which we are about to enter…
