We use to say, that when we receive the Holy Communion, we place within us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. And that is true!

But let us complete the most important truth:

We do not just place the Body and Blood of our Christ within us, but our body becomes the Body of Christ and our blood becomes the Blood of Christ!!!

Let us say it the other way around: The Body of Christ becomes our body and His Blood becomes our blood!!!

Let each of us consider the magnitude of God’s gift, His love and His infinite condescension!!!

And let us now lead our lives accordingly…, having precisely this truth in mind:

That our body is imbued and becomes the Body of Christ and the blood that flows in us from now on is the Blood of Christ!!!
