665 (SIMPLICITY/ GOD) The Holy Trinity is simple· simple and indivisible.
Having been created at the image of God, we have by nature a simple soul. To put it simply, after the fall, our soul acquired diversity, multiformity and versatility. However, our good God wants us simple… in thought, in our words as well as in our behaviour, so that we may resemble Him. We may apply here what the Lord categorically said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18,3)
